Over the past four decades, diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have risen massively: one in 33 children in the USA are now diagnosed with ASD.
The root causes are varied and complex. Depending on the individual, risk factors might include (among other things) genetics, certain foods, environmental pollution, EMF radiation, or neurotoxins present in childhood vaccines.
Why the WCH Guide to Autism?
World Council for Health offers accessible, evidence-based resources for anyone wishing to make informed choices for their health.
This Guide does not advocate for attempting to “cure” autism. Nor does it promote a “one-size-fits-all” perspective. Rather, it offers empowerment and agency for individuals, parents and caregivers – exploring the potential causes of ASD and suggesting pathways for optimum wellbeing.
The Autism: New Horizons Guide is aligned with WCH’s ethical, holistic approach. This approach is based on education, informed consent and bodily autonomy – and a recognition that body, mind and spirit are all connected.

In this special online event, first of a two-part series, World Council for Health brings together leading international voices with different approaches to supporting and healing children and families with autism spectrum diagnoses, at a time when this discussion has reached the highest echelons of the US government after decades of sharply increasing cases, crippling a whole generation of children and devastating families.
For decades, health has become increasingly medicalised—treating natural childhood illnesses meant to build powerful immune systems for adulthood as aberrant. But what if there’s a better way? A way that honours the wisdom of the body, and restores our children to health?
