This Declaration, read by Bretigne Shaffer of World Council for Health USA, recognizes the illegitimacy of the United States government, on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence. It is a key outcome of the World Council for Health’s Better Way Conference, which was held in Warwick, Rhode Island, May 30/31, 2026.

World Council for Health, an international health and sovereignty initiative, stands resolutely for the unalienable rights of the individual, for individual sovereignty and for A Better Way. The Better Way Principles, based in natural law, transcend ideologies of nation state, culture and religion – the Better Way Principles are universal, whilst responsibility is individual. Thus, responsible self-governance lies at the heart of a Better Way for the United States of America and the World.
