Stop the Treaty: World Council for Health Law and Activism Committee, Coalition Partners Representations to the WHO

The World Council for Health (WCH), collectively with the public and our coalition partners, made representations to the World Health Organization (WHO) last month during a short public participation process. Here are some of them.

We’ll have more updates on the next steps to challenge this global pandemic agreement that would give the World Health Organization undemocratic rights over every participating nation and its citizens.

In the event of a ‘pandemic’, the WHO’s proposed agreement would replace every country’s constitution. In April 2022, it gave just five days for the public to voice their opinion by contributing …

Please note: This written submission period ended on April 13, 2022.

As the World Council for Health (WCH), our partners and allies have already sought to draw attention to, the World Health Organization (WHO) has proposed a global pandemic agreement that will give it undemocratic rights over sovereign people. See the WCH Open Letter in response to this attempted power grab here.

WHO has quietly opened the floor for comments on the agreement but has provided little time to do so ahead of the first round of hearings scheduled for April 12 and 13, 2022.We encourage everyone to share …

First Open Letter on the WHO's Pandemic Treaty

… Independent media

TO: WHO via World Health Assembly, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus, Dr Soumya Swaminathan

TO: United Nations via Antonio Guterres, Liu Zhenmin, Elliott Harris, Maria-Francesca Spatolisano

The World Council for Health (WCH), a coalition of scientists, doctors, lawyers, and civil society advocacy organizations, opposes the World Health Organisation (WHO)’s moves to implement a power grab in the form of a global pandemic agreement, while the world’s attention is diverted by the latest crisis.

segregating unvaccinated people at home

Does Segregating People Who Have Not Been Vaccinated Keep Vaccinated People Safe?

… and restaurants, to confining them to their homes based on vaccination status. Similar measures include imposing fines (see Greece) or denying medical treatment, as in Singapore.

The justification given for such measures is apparently to protect the wider population from the spread of Covid-19 and to ensure that those who have chosen to not take the vaccine do not burden health services. There are two assumptions behind these rationales:

People who have not been vaccinated spread SARS-CoV-2 far more than those who have taken Covid-19 vaccinesPeople who have not been vaccinated are more likely to need …

Tell the WHO: We Don't Need a Pandemic Treaty!

The World Health Organization (WHO) appears intent on the success of its attempted power grab. They’ve grown accustomed to the public not participating and not having an awareness of their plans or tactics. But the World Council for Health (WCH) and our partners are shining a light on the WHO‘s actions so they can no longer act quietly in the darkness.

The WCH Law and Activism Committee has uncovered two serious concerns that warrant immediate attention.

In April, the WHO initiated an open comment period regarding their proposed global pandemic treaty. Despite not adequately publicizing the call for …
